I thought I timed it pretty good this month. And now I am two days late. But I just had a negative pregnancy test, and I do feel like I am about to get my period.
It's been over six months now. I know it can take a long time. But it usually doesn't, and I don't know if we will be able to afford a fertility specialist if it doesn't happen at the one year mark. I have no idea how much they cost, I just don't picture it being cheap. So I feel like just giving up. I was never late before we started trying, which means it's probably the stress making me late. And that can't be good for me anyway.

We've been kind of busy, and I missed my peak ovulation day (yesterday) this month. That really bums me out because the months are sort of flying by and crawling by at the same time. I'd really like to make this happen before I'm 30 if possible...
My cousin is almost a year old than I am, and I hear she finally just got pregnant after five years of trying.

What if men had to conform to beauty standards? |

A friend posted this on facebook earlier, and I thought it was kind of cute. It is meant to point out how arbitrary and shallow beauty standards can be. It is meant to point out how women are often judged by their looks more than men are. But do not be fooled into thinking that all guys are shallow or that no women are. Everyone is different regardless of sex. This article isn't a serious study or anything. It is more like a joke that's meant to make you think a bit about beauty standards, double standards, gender roles, stereotypes, why we do the things we do in the name of beauty, sexism, etc.
