I've been using dollar store pregnancy tests, which I heard were reliable enough.  But then I got a weird result today.

Here's how this test works.   There is a C and a T.  The whole background slowly turns pink then fades to white.  When a dark pink/red line shows up under the letter C, the test is done.  If a line also shows up under the T, it's positive.  No line, negative.

So positive looks like:

C        T

And negative looks like:

C        T

l

Well my test today looked like:

C         T

--l---------------

But the ---------- line was very faint.  And after a minute or two it went away.

So I went to Walmart and bought an e.p.t.  It said you only needed to use the first pee of the day if you were testing before your period was due.  So I tested as soon as I got home.  That one came up negative too.  I'm now 8 days late, which is very unusual for me.
